UPMC Hillman in Pittsburgh is one of two NCI-designated cancer centers in Pennsylvania. Its thoracic surgery program performs both pleurectomy/decortication and EPP for pleural mesothelioma, plus cytoreductive surgery + HIPEC for peritoneal mesothelioma. Major mesothelioma center for Western Pennsylvania, eastern Ohio, and West Virginia steel and industrial workers.
